I am considering replacing my aging oil boiler with a Buderas system and an indirect water heater as well. Can anyone share any concerns, comments, or opinions as to the quality and performance and most importantly the reliability and serviceability?

Buderus boilers
Are some of the best going. Period. One of the guys on my crew just had the opportunity to service a G-115 with a Riello burner that we had installed two years ago. (the burner door is hinged so cleaning is a breeze) Upon opening the little guy up, there was just a trace of soot in the third flue gas passageway and about a 1/4 cup of dry powder laying in the bottom of the firebox.(Looked like a trace of condensation, this boiler runs 86 to 87% efficiency.) HO said his fuel costs have been down 20% in each of the years it has been in operation. This particular boiler is installed with the 2107 boiler control which varies your water temp based on what temp. it is outside. It also manages the domestic hot water production from the indirect among other things. The control is a worthwhile investment in my humble experience.
Hope this helps.

I use the Buderus line as our first choice of boiler for all of our work.
It is a well built and designed boiler that provides our customers with great value. They use a different cast iron casting then Americans do and they claim it is more flexable and able to withstand thermal shock. The insulation around the boiler is 3" which holds the heat longer. Honeywell controls and a compeditive price make this very attractive.
Hey I put this in my MOTHERS house.
Good luck
Scott

Western Gas men
use Bluedareus boilers too.. I strongly recommend them. Been to where they were made and am SUPER impressed with their whole operations.
A worthy investment indeed.
