What F&T brands have been "good runners" for you steamheads? The choices are substantial, I'm looking for quality, something that's gonna last and be rebuildable.
Thanks- Bill in Wi.

Well, it looks like nobody wants to committ themselves to a certain brand of F & T. Does that mean there all equal? Surely there must be a difference in quality etc. I guess I'll respond to my own question. Disappointed Bill0 -
Just saw this, Bill
Most of the big brands- Hoffman, Barnes & Jones, Spirax/Sarco and others, will hold up well. But they do need maintenance once in a while so you must consider parts availability. And you have to size and install them properly, or you'll have nothing but trouble with them!
A good trap is a good trap- it's the installation that counts!
