Trianco D-max boilers

I installed a trianco d-max boiler in the winter of '99. Had a few problems, the quick-connect plug for the burner was defective-one of the pins was never installed. The other is ongoing....the termination outlet (side wall kit that comes with boiler package-balanced draft type) keeps leaking from exhaust to intake. The first year I took the termination fitting back to supply house and they gave me a new one...said that the factory didn't use the right silicone, since then I have to replace it every year under warranty. The exhaust temps are normal- 375-400degrees F. Has anyone tried using another brand of term. fitting thru the wall? I am tempted to buy a side-shot from tjernlund....

Laars bought Trianco back in 1998. I can get in touch with the right person to help you, so I've emailed you.

    Casmos......

is this one of those deals that has a combined intake under the exhaust in one hood?????? I have had some problems w/ that in other brands. I now only use thw Aerocowl style that Buderus has and seperate the two terminations.kpc

    Thanks Mark

You know I replaced this last year and I never recieved the $120. My supplier never told me. Today I picked up the second replacement termination fitting, this one is welded stainless steel. The last two were put together with silicone. Lets hope this works!

It is a Beckett AFII. I wish the AFII came with the honeywell R718A burner control, I every Beckett burner would come with that standard!
