Panel Radiators & Radiant Manifolds

I have installed the panel radiators using a flow-tee system off of a copper 1" or 3/4" main. I was told about using a manifold instead; it is much quicker and easier and provides the same results. I would like to know more, any and all inputs are greatly appreciated. I figure you size it like you size a regular boiler header, but I am not 100% sure. I will be using 5/8" pex to each radiator.
