Tekmar Question????

Hi Wallies!!
Hope everyone is beating the wolf out there (;)
I am currently involved in a radiant floor system where the owner wants to use "only" ground source water to water HP's for supplying heat to ten zones. I think I can help my secondary loop (continuous with close-spaced supply and return tee's) with a second injection loop. My question is can an 070 outdoor sensor be paralleled to service a second controller? Or better yet can a 356 Tekmar control two NRF-22's as injection pumps simultaneously?? Thanks in advance!! P.S. I currently am staging three 5-ton HP's with a Tekmar 254 Controller using the return water (condenser) temp to prevent high pressure controls from shutting the HP's down.

I know you can't parallel a single outdoor sensor to multiple controls, but you can put a second 10k (071) sensor in the 070 enclosure. Then run a seperate stat wire to each control. As far as running multiple injection pumps I've never tried it.

    Hope this Helps

You can run two pumps from the 356 in parallel but what is the point? You will be running two injection pumps that are following the same curve. Why not just add the additional loads to the one mixing loop?
