Question about adding a steam radiator
Stuart
Member Posts: 3
I have some sections with two-pipe, some with one-pipe, radiators. I plan to add a radiator to a section in which the other radiator feeding off the same source is two-pipe, although on the second floor. The radiator I'm adding is on the first floor. Do I also have to have the contractor set it up as two-pipe, or will one-pipe work?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'd stick with 2-pipe
since the steam main in the basement might not be big enough to handle the additional condensate from a 1-pipe rad.
