Hi guys,
Some one mentioned to me today about using plastic between the plywood floor and the concrete slab with the radiant tubing in it. He also said that your not supposed to use plastic with Gypcrete. Does anyone know about this? Where can I get information regarding this?

Check the RPA information
The theory behind your query.
Gypcrete works best if it can adhere to the subfloor and expands at a comperable rate.
Concrete products bond well to themselves but require a slip sheet, typically plastic sheeting, to prevent adhesion. You don't want the concrete sticking to your plywood - it expands much slower than the wood.
