PowerMate Motorized Stairclimbing Handtrucks

Does anyone own either the M1 or L1 models? I am thinking of purchasing one or the other for moving boilers, water heaters and an occasional cast iron tub or whirlpool up and down stairs, onto my truck etc.. They seem pricy but if they work well it will sure save my aching back. I'm not twenty anymore. Any comments good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

They are worth EVERY penny!!!!!
Once you get used to using them you will wonder why you didn't get one sooner!
There are instances when the powermate is not usable i.e tight turns on stairways, but most times they are a back saver.
Hope this helps!!!

Stair truck
I agree they are well worth the money if they save your back once. On a tight turn in a stairway you can put a bunched up towel under the platform to rotate it. Jerry0 -
stairclimbers.........
I am researching them as well. Check out the fork style lift from Escalera.

Consider the escalera
I owned two other steel versions brands and they were tanks! One weighed close to 200 lbs. Our employees wouldn't even use them. They now own an escalera and love it. Go with the rough terrain wheels and tires if you cross lawns or construction sites.
