Question about the combustion chamber. This oil fired boiler has a ceramic back target wall and a seperate blanket which sits on the bottom of the chamber.these are the only two pieces in thecombustion chamber. My question is.Are these 2 pieces glued to the cast iron or do they just sit in the combustion chamber.Especially the blanket,it seems that the blower on the burner could cause this to move if its not glued down in some way. Thanks for any response.

chamber
When you get a replacement chamber it comes with waterglass which is kinda like glue. They do recomend using it on the backwall and floor.0 -
Blanket curl
I always use waterglass on blanket, esp.on sides to avoid curl which will cause flame to smoke = soot = plugged = damm service call @ 11pm.0
