our current projects. 2,000 Square foot custom home on Orcas Island, WA. Entire south side of home is windows. We wanted to install climate panel under the hardwoods, but the architect (Who oversees EVERYTHING) wanted us to staple down tubing over 30 gauge sheet metal. After the architect signed our a release of liability, The contractor layed all the sheetmetal and we installed the tubing. After the tubing was installed, the contractor came through and installed strips of 3/4" plywood between the tubes. They will be installing hardwoods later this month. We installed our first Danfoss Panels on this job (Thank you Mr. Bean) and are estatic on how well they went in. Boiler Panel, High Temp Panel and 4-Way Panel with DHW option. I am sold!!! I will post pictures of the final product after we go and trim it out...hopefully in about a month.

    Just curious............

What is the reason for the really close centers on the tubin. It looks to be about 3-4 inches. Is it to lower water temperatures? The danfoss panels look great.

    Sleak & Sexy

    Ernie,

These look like they are ready to be framed in...very very nice!

Heard thru the grapevine Architect will use the ZCP's as standard spec on his future projects...so how does it feel to be a revolutionary?

Great looking install...all the guys here at the plant can't wait to see the final stuff.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    Centers

Yes, the tubing is on 4" centers through out the house. They are installing hardwood floors with I think it is called "English Sunset Beach Wood" I wanted to run as low water temps as I could. I also wanted to see how often the supplemental heat would come on with that much tube...

    Standard Spec.

I talked to the contractor after the architects saw the installation. Their comment was "this is how hydronics should be". And yes, I heard that they want to spec these on all their jobs. I don't know about being a revolutionary, I love this industry and like to install clean, efficient systems and whenever I can do something cool....I will do my best to..
