    outdoor gas boiler

Hey guys!! Got a question; I am located in Wilmington, North Carolina. I have a customer who has an old defunct Amana outdoor l.p. gas boiler. When it was set up by the original installer, he ran a loop with glycol through it to a hot water heat exchanger for domestic use, and tee'd off it to a fan coil in line with a heat pump. Of course, all the piping is buried in ceilings and walls. Which makes the customer want to try to replace the Amana system and try to leave the rest as is. Here in the warm South, none of the supply houses have even heard of anything but a heat pump, let alone a 'burler'. Anybody out there got any history of working with a good system that they would recommend and they might have info on?? See you in Toronto at the ISH!!!! David Kornely

David, Try the Raypak line of boilers. I believe the distributor is Heat Transfer Sales in Greensboro.
