tube is one of the earliest versions of Heatway entran. A Teledyne was connected to this concrete slab without mixing devices of any sort. Boiler, pump, manifolds, expansion tank, no air purger. On it's second expansion tank. Aquastat set to 160. I suspect with over 2000 square feet of slab on grade, powered by a 50,000 Mini Therm this boiler rarely ran above condensing.

The flue pipe and vent has been replaced 3 times. I suspect the boiler HX has been cleaned as most of the jacket screws were missing.

Circ pump is in pretty good shape for 16 years of non barrier tube application. Water was very clean and the tube soft as new.

    I thought ...

    the laars/raypak boiler was supposed to to "shock proof"? Was is at least piped pri/secondary? Prob. not..huh? WAS it B-vent flue pipe that was replaced? Not a pretty picture...what are you going to do to rectify the situation? kpc
