Just wondering, Jim
why you have iso valves below the pumps? If you were to put the iso valves above the flow checks and one 1-1/4 ball valve before the air purger you could isolate every single component in the system that may, or will, need service someday. Everything from the expansion tank through to the flow checks would be between ball valves. An old Holohan trick!
Do those weighted flow checks hold well enough to change a pump out?
I use a 1-1/4" Jomar filter ball valve just before the purger which also gives me a strainer to protect the pumps from solder balls, etc.
Real nice work you do.

Small pipe
Very nice, very neat. I'm half way into a twin 250 HP steam job. 10" header; 6" equalizer; 24" flue; etc. Now that's turning out to be a PIPING job.0
