    Conversion Nat-Gas to Propane

I'm converting my 80,000 BTU Boiler to Propane. Do I need a new gas valve, or are there any modification that I can use.

What about Gas regulators, what are the pressures involved.
    What about codes and regulations.
    What about plumbing the system.

    Thanks Bill

I know you are one of the finest people on this sit. I plan to take your advice. I live in the Philadelphia,Pa. area, and I had experience with heating contractors.

That is why I'am asking these question. If there were contractors like your self there would'nt be a need to ask these question.

    Thanks Bill
  • Why???

are you converting? Having said that I need more information. What is the make and number on the gas valve, does it have a built in regulator. If you give me the number I can answer that if you do not know. All of the orifices will have to be replaced on the burners. What is the Make and Model of the boiler?

The pilot orifice will also have to be replaced. Let us get those questions answered then we will move on from there.

Do you have an LP gas supplier and do they do service? If they do let them do the conversion.
