Customer totally remodels his house, big colonial. Jacks up the house 15 feet so they can put in a foundation, new kitchen, bathroom, garage. But is keeping the 30yr old floor furnace!!Wants to use a sideshot and kill the chimney and I'm thinking no way this is a accident waitng to happen.Wouldn't it suck the flame out even with a draft damper?

HUH?
At this point, is he just out of $$$ to do the heating correctly? I think I'd let him find someone else for the retro-fit of that. If, however, he wanted to do it right you are the MAN! bigugh [and your concern showes it!]0 -
he just loves the way it warms right up, expect for the cold bathroom,kitchen,backporch......0 -
i hope he ...
doesn't have kids. ouch! theres no way of convincing him? Is that the only heat source in the house? I'd run away!kpc0
