Any chance on getting new orfices for rads after someone
has replace valve.Got a steam system that has lots of problem.

    I can get them in the Baltimore area

    don't know who makes them, but I can find out. We got a bunch of 1/2-inchers for that orifice system we're working on. We had to drill them ourselves but that's not a big deal.

    I got two apartment building side by side,one apartment has
    the vapor system,the other has a one pipe parallel-flow
    up-feed system.Other then the orfice problem the vapor system is not to bad.But the one pipe is a nightmare,copper
    headers,near boilerpiping copper not enough A DIMENSION
    end of steam main copper with copper riser no drips or
    water seal.If I could Learn how to put pics on the wall

    Dunham / Bush (MEPCO) makes an Adjustble orfice steam radiator valve. It has an adjustable stem that prvents the valve from opening farther than the set point. Works great! your biggest problem is knowing what size orfice you want. With the D/B valve you can play with it until you find the sweet spot. Try your D/B rep or State Supply.
