Hiya gang how are we all these days hope that life is treating you very well and you are all keeping safe while at work.
please as ever would you be so kind to help me with the following regarding sunrads.
As i have come across sunrads at work i start to think are these radiators good options,on a how water system in these terms i mean when the boiler goes on it has to work hard to get these up to temperature being cast iron, would it be a better option to install steel panel ones instead,as with cast rads when temperature is reached within the room a lot of residual heat will occur whereas a panel radiator will be able to be a better option of temperaure deferential.
panel radiators i would assume would be a cheaper option, quicker to heat , output, size, neater, alot lighter than cast iron.so in the terms by a panel radiator being able to reach temperature alot quicker than a cast one surely it would make it alot more effecient than a cast one.
many thanks as always for all your kind help

You better watch out, talk like that may get you deported ! If we have a winter this year you will understand why we like big cast iron radiators. These Sunrads are really CI convectors. When your little tin panel radiator is cold the owner of the sunrad will still be basking in warmth. It may take a little more time to warm the iron up but it is worth it. Hook these babies up on constant circ.,throw in a little indoor/outdoor reset and you have comfort. The btu's should be in Dan's radiator book.I'm only teasing[well sort of] Good to see you here every once in a while.0
