pressuretrol not working?

in THE MAIN WALL
Cut in point set at 0 and differential set at about 2lbs, yet gauge can hit up to 5lbs. It does cycle on and off a few times before hitting 4 or 5lbs. Is this normal or is something wrong here?

    i think you need to replace it it has had a long and usefull life just remember to add a pigtail to protect the new pressuretrol

    I cant believe that control has lasted this long and was wondering about the codition of the rest of the system.It sounds like you already knew the control was bad ps nice paint job
