    If we have a straight hydronic system compared to a steam system with heat exchanger and hydronic distribution, which one would be beneficial? Thank you very much.

    Are you talking about

    a steam boiler with a steam-to-water heat exchanger that then heats a building with hot water? Are you asking for a comparison between that water system and a direct steam heating system?

    I was talking about a steam boiler with a steam-to-water heat exchanger that then heats a building with hot water and a direct hot water heating system. Which one is beneficial?? Thanks a lot.

    Unless there's a static-pressure challenge

    such as you'd have in a high-rise building, I see no advantage in using a steam boiler and a converter. I'd just use a straight hot water boiler and avoid the extra equipment.
