    Hydronic options

I need to make a decision next week on my HVAC system for my major home remodel/addition. The house is located in the Chicago suburbs and will require 100,000 BTUs to heat and 3 tons to cool. I have $25,000 budgeted for this. I am leaning towards option 3. Should I spend more?

    Here are my choices:

Option 1 - $45,000 - Viessmann boiler, HW Tank and controls, 2 Zones on circulators, Unico AC, Venmar ERV, mix of quicktrack, gypcrete and runtal radiators.

Option 2 - $31,000 - Buderus boiler, HW Tank and Logamatic controls, 2 Zones on circulators, Armstrong air handler and 10 seer AC compressor, Venmar ERV, and runtal radiators.

Option 3 - $25,000 - Buderus boiler and HW Tank (no outdoor reset), Unico hi-velocity AC with heating coil, 10 seer AC compressor, Venmar ERV, and quicktrack in Master Bath.

Option 4 - $15,000 - Forced Air system, 10 seer AC compressor, Venmar HRV.

    Thanks

    Drew
