We installed a length of Ecoflex Twin direct burial pipe today. The piping will carries a 1" supply and return between the main house mechanical room and a 4500SF radiant heated office and shop. Putting the pipe in the trench is akin to wrestling a 165 ft. Anaconda. It took 11/2 hrs. for 3 men to install and trim. I like the fact that it's earthquake-proof and will easily survive a shaker.

Eco flex
Great stuff, I used it on a McMansion for their chilled water sytem. Like you said it is a little difficult to unroll but after that takes place you can't beat it. No joints underground and some serious insulation, wrap it up in a flexable plastic conduit and it does not get any better than that.0
