Only thing about bubble foil I'm fairly sure about is that it works as a moisture barrier.

Here is the info from TVM:

    http://www.tvmi.com/new_rfoil/

You want the BFB type, with the foil encapsulated between 2 layers of bubbles. If you use the other type FBF, Foil-Bubble-Foil, you have metal foil in contact with concrete or soil, and it becomes a conductor rather than an insulator.

Also, if in contact with a damp surface, the foil will quickly oxidize and disintegrate.

One excellent source is Hydronic Specialties at:

They will drop ship if you order a lot, and you should. Great stuff.

Also wonderful to tape into tubes you can slip on soda cans or coffee cups or beer bottles. Put your company sticker on it and pass them out. Line your lunch coolers. Wrap the pizza. Sit on it at the ball game. Kneel on the scraps. Make a hat. Just for kicks, wrap a tube around your forearm and see if you notice a difference. Good product; lots of fun. Enjoy.
