wow!!!!
what a great time, beside the fact of how much i learned from this seminar, john had a fantastic way of keeping everyone's attention, i would consider myself to be on the advanced side, as far as the majority of the class, but john has a way of communicating with all levels of knowledge in the radiant field from, beginner, to seasoned veteran, my hat goes off to wirsbo & john barba!
thank you

    John Barba

I went to the class in 1997 and found his style fun, informative and totally a class act. Wirsbo is a great system for water and in-floor I have installed miles of Auqapex and am starting to close in on my first mile of Heatpex in a single house ! Great support! Great systems!

    This New Englander trapped

in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" is UNBELIEVABLE. I attend every training I can and John Barba shines above the rest. He takes a three day course and packs it full of fun. He has a wonderful way of keeping everyone's attention. His energy level is un-matched. I can't wait to get up there for a second time through the Wirsbo HCT training in the new training facility.

No offense to our host, Mr. Holohan, as I have enjoyed many of his seminars. But Barba, well he's Barba, those who have experienced John know what I mean. He is a treasure that I am glad to have discovered.

J.B. keep doing what you do. Nobody does it better.

    No offense taken.

    I couldn't agree more!

Looking forward to seeing both of you at the Gathering.
    Retired and loving it.

    Absolutely

Wes Sisco, is outstanding, personality is the pre-requisite of a Wirsbo trainer. Wes certainly is very personable, energetic and passionate. Clearly he possesses the knowledge as well. Best example of Wes Sisco's commitment was a training he did for us at our location in which it was scheduled to end at 4:00pm on a Friday. Everyone knows the Washington D.C. traffic is amongst the worst in the country.

Well, Wes asked if anyone wanted to stay and continue and 70% of the class stayed until 6:30pm. Usually, most instructors and attendees are racing out the door to head home. Not this time. This really shows Wes's passion for spreading the radiant gospel. Wirsbo is loaded with GREAT people.

Thanks for acknowledging Wes as well as John Barba for the quality work they do.

    Good O'l Johnie Wirsbo...

I still say he missed his calling :-)

Could have been a great stand up comedian. He's still a great stand up kinda guy.

    Lets be fair

The jury is still out in my mind I have been to Wirsbo school and have experienced Johns knowledge ,wit and charisma . I hope to attend a seminar of Chief Wet Head in Toronto and suspect that the meeting will re-inforce all that I have read in the PM. Hang tight Dan you do not take the back seat to anyone !

    Thank God for Barba

I went to the HCT class several years ago before they had their new training facility. Everything you've said about John's knowledge, enthusiasm, energy level etc... etc.. is all true. I loved the breaks when he'd show us "The Red Green Show." Everyone can learn a lot from these classes.
John and Wes are like a Cornhusker game at memorial stadium. It would be a great time even if you didn't like football and didn't want to learn.
I met Wes "the Wirs-Bro" Sysco (sp?)more recently at a TekMar training, and would go to see him again anytime.
I commented on his sense of humor, and asked him if he and John were related somehow. He said, "Barba is my brother from another mother."

Having said all that, I want to thank Dan again for his ability to explain complex theories in sensible ways and make them available to us all.
My supplier loaned me "pumping away" at the above mentioned tekmar school, and I was literally shouting with excitement as I read it.
You'd have thought I was having church! I finally could SEE the WHYS of what I'd been building in those mechanical rooms. I learned a lot more HOWS as well. To me, Hows are easy to remember when you first understand the Whys.

I told my wife that I wished they had sold me Dan's books at the Wirsbo school. I got so excited at what I was learning that I had to explain it all in detail to her. She's learned more about hydronics than she ever wanted to know!
I soon ordered a few hundred dollars worth of books, and it was the best investment in my education I could have made. I honestly learned more in a couple weeks worth of reading than I had learned in several years of seminars and on the job experience.

Then my wife and I re-read "Just add H2 OH!" together, and we both got absolutely giddy about the potential of marketing hydronics. Dan made us believe in the value of our service, intangibles and all, and our ability to sell the whole package to our customers.

I don't think that "revolutionized" is too dramatic a word to describe what has happened in our business since we got turned onto Mr. Holohan! So Thanks again Dan, we'll be signing up for your find a contractor service just as soon as we figure out how to get our job pictures loaded up!
    Sincerely, Kevin and Maria Pulver
