I have a customer ( mechanical contractor ) who is looking for parts for a United steam trap. Are they still around? How do I get ahold of them?

That's a new one on me
but you might try getting in touch with someone at Barnes and Jones. As far as I know they have the most extensive line of trap repair parts out there, and may be able to cross-reference it to something in their catalog.
