Question on Watts radiant products?
Just found out a local plumbing supply(about 1 1/2 hour drive) carries the Watts products. Are they a quality product? As good as wirsbo, Vanguard etc.?
I have their catalog and I notice they have a radiant tubing named Onix which does not look to be pex. They also offer pex tube. So which is the proper one to use in a warmboard type installation?

They used to go by \"Heatway\"
and had some trouble with Goodyear on some tubing that was made for them. They became Watts Heatway, then Watts Radiant.

We've used
Onix on staple-up jobs; it's very flexible and can be a real time-saver.
If you're using Warmboard, you'll want to use their 1/2" PEX. No reason to spend the extra money on Onix.
All the best,
Alan

Watts Radiant pex is one of the products I install. I believe their pex is made by Vanguard, different color however. A good bunch of guys to work with.
Watts Industries has an interesting rewards program going on. Ought to be good for some unusual Christmas gifts

Watts subray radiant sleepers
Hotrod; Why does watts have such a large gap, 2", between their Subray radiant floor sleepers? Seems like less would be better. Other manufacturers have a friction fit for the pex to slide into.0
