If you were to use an existing reverse osmosis water treatment system for boiler feedwater to an existing steam boiler system, what type of problems or concerns would you anticipate?

the only
problem I see is not having enough water when you needed it. RO only produce a gallon or two in one 24 hr period. Unless you go w/ a whole house system but that is major money..kpc0 -
RO is great if
you need lots of water and need to treat alot of makeup water. Our electric power plant ( about 250 mega watts) went to RO 2 years ago and it saves us alot of chemicals. On plant wells feed the RO and the RO feeds the demineralizer system. In the past the deminerizer was getting pushed too hard. RO unit is made in Minneapolis or near there, don't have the name as my power plant buddy is on vac. If you need lots of water for a large commercial application this is the way to go.0 -
RO water
If your going to use ro water. Maybe you should look into deionized (DI) water.0
