Any manufacturers of low mass oil fired boilers.
Somewhere around 300,000 to 800,000 water net IBR.

would you even consider such a thing? Low mass, high input, non-modulating, oil heating equipment? Makes me nervous just saying it (g).

Take a look at Crown F series scotch marine cast iron line it might be of interest.0 -

The FW series from Crown is a very good boiler line. While they have a lower water content than most, I would not consider the FW-4 (355MBH) @ 950 lbs. or the FW-8 (907MBH) @ 1650 lbs. "low mass".
If the budget will allow, look at the Viessmann Rondomat series. It has things like a computerized shunt pump for boiler protection and a full array of custom controls available. It really gets no better than Rondomat when it comes to big oil-fired equipment.
