Here is the next step for my hx project. As luck would have it Watts Radiant has a new T drill copper spinner. They spun this 2-1/2" copper closed for me. I found out that a T-Drill will not pull this much "bunched up" copper. So I will just silver solder the connection. Taco flanges will allow me to mount the HX to the tank.

are you still using silver solder, i've gone to the phosfer bronze stuff for anything thats not potable ;15http://www.jwharris.com/home/ 15% silver/
