wall hung boiler ? Scott

Part of a new project will be to install a heating system for a small cottage on the property. The only room I have is under the stairs. Not much room for a boiler and domestic tank, no chimney, must be direct vent. I have seen some wall hung boilers that do domestic but the flow rates suck. A dishwasher and shower at the same time and your out of luck. I may try a munchkin and a small indirect.
Any suggestions... it L.P..
Hav'nt done the heat loss but somewhere around 25,000.
Thanks

We've installed
a couple of Baxi Lunas (model 24 Fi is a combi) with very good success. Direct vent; balanced flue; a bit of a learning curve, but not bad.
Best wishes,
Alan

Slant/Fin Prodigy
The Slant/Fin Prodigy wall hung boiler is a sealed combustion unit, 50,000BTU input. It should be great for your needs. To see more, go to: http://www.slantfin.com/prod-prodigy.html

Vitodens
I have sung the praises of this baby before. Wall hung, fully condensing, fully modulating, totally silent machine. I have installed one and it is the cats pj's

Viessmann
I agree with Michel if i need a nice wall hung unit I go with Viessmann . I installed those units in Germany and they are great , silent, efficient. Munshkin is not bad either.Depends on the budget. I would not convert a tankless gas water heater . But this is just my thinking.

The Vitodens
is a great boiler, but I think it would be overkill to install it in a small cottage.
I don't know what Scott's working with, but a small cottage to me is, let's say 20 x 20; 400 square feet, around 10,000 BTU's. The smallest Vitodens (model 6-24) will modulate down to 22,000 BTU's; that's twice what's needed at design load; that baby's going to be short cycling like crazy and your efficiency is going to go out the window.
Besides, who's going to pay those prices to heat their small cottage.
Mario: any updates on the Rotex boilers?
All the best,
Alan

Alan your right, I think the Vitoden is outside the budget for this one. Does the Luna have demestic and whats its flow-rate. Same question for the prodigy ??
And for those with "sick" minds, I did not ask for a well hung boiler. You kids !!
