I just started using these and I really like them. Gives a professional look and seals up any air leaks in the wall from affecting thermostat operation. Beats wrapping your wire around a nail. Another nice thing is the drywall animals won't loose your wire in the wall. Well, hopefully.............

You know, you could use just a regular old romex box
Solves the problem of losing wires and gives you someting solid to attach your room control to. Of course you may end up with some contractors trying to plug thier drill into your thermostat wire.

Yer' a smart fella'.
Yes, ME, it's corrugated plastic. There is no need to use anchors when using these since it holds screws very well. About $1.50 a piece. Like I said, professional.
