    non barrier tubing

Look at the tubing yourself and there should be some lettering and numbers on it. Get back to us and let us know what it says. It may be barrier tubing. I don't beleive in additives of any kind including antifreeze unless some pipes are exposed to freezing conditions. If you find your tubing to be oxygen permable, you can always seperate the boiler from the tubing with a heat exchanger and non ferrous componets.

    Read this!

Lots of info in these "walls" :).........cut and paste this link and read.As Steve said check with the manufacturer of the tube.Red tube I know is Rehau and SlantFin..........could be others. You should investigate and take measures to correct if needed. As Steve said a Heat Exchanger(HX) would be smarter than "magic potions".
