Estimating Fuel Consumption

This is the formula I use:
F= (HL*24*DD)/E*P*TD)
HL = heat load(btu)
DD Degree days
E= boiler efficiency
P =heat value of fuel
TD= disign temp diff of heating system
F= (HL*24*DD)/E*P*TD)
HL = heat load(btu)
DD Degree days
E= boiler efficiency
P =heat value of fuel
TD= disign temp diff of heating system

Estimating Fuel Consumption
I should know this, but I can't recall or locate the calculations for estimating fuel usage(#2 in this case). I want to model "what if's" based on DD and different occupancy senarios. System is a Resindential, 2 stage boiler system, 2 Temp RFH/Fan Coil/80 gal. Boilermate, with VSIM, 2 pipe/Parallel P/S. 195,000btu/h design heat loss, nearly 7,000 sq/ft. West Coast Log Home Vacation Home in central Maine. HO will use about 2-3 weeks per year, until retirement. Fan Coils are on a Home Run Mnfld, with zone actuators. All Tekmar 500 series t'stats(3-512, 3-510). Is there a Program available for this? Manual Calcs o.k., too?
TIA,
Jed
P.S. The New Wall is really great to work with and use, even for dumb, ole me.0 -
Thanks, Frank. I can work with that.
