Burnham problems

Does anyone have any information on Burnham cast iron boiler failures? I replaced one 16 years old and I have a friend that's replacing one 7 years old. On both of them the cast iron cracked. Any thoughts?

    John,

    I am sorry to hear that you have had these incidents occur. E-mail me with the model number and serial number of the 7 year old boiler and I will get you pointed in the right direction as to getting it replaced. If in fact these are both hot water boilers, the crack you have encountered could be from thermal stress. Contact me with the info and we will get you a replacement block assembly. Hope this helps. Try to get this info to me tonight as I will be in NJ and CT for the next two days and want to take care of it pronto!
