Does anyone know anything about using "rubber hose" as opposed to copper tubing in the walls and ceiling on circuit loop systems, I've seen it in a few houses but I can't find any info. on it. I would be interested in the cost over labor and also adapters and how they fair against corosion. The hose I've been seeing is yellow and adapts to 3/4 cop.

Pex
I don't know anything about rubber hose for heat loops, but we do use pex and pex-al-pex for that durpose. The labor savings is huge.Just be carefull of the large expansion rate with pex.

Rubber is perishable, and PEX isn't.0
