EDDT Test? - Dave
We have a contract coming up that requires an eddy test performed. Does anyone have input on what would be required or performed and what is needed to perform this test. I hate to sound dumb but i have never heard of this. Thank you.

add eddy current test
the eddy current test is done on tube bundles to test for pinhole leaks in the tubes, & maybe even determine tube thickness....we sometimes spec this for older chilers & hex's before we replace any tubes....i've never seen this done on boilers, but it's not a bad idea, but it's worth mucho bucks ($5k ???)0
