A million fists punched the air

on Sunday morning, mine included.

This is what men do 24/7 to bring us energy & keep us warm. Yet they barely make enough to feed their families.
They all deserve $100,000 a year as far as I'm concerned.

This brings back so many memories from when I did the same thing for a living, 38 yrs ago. My first paypacket was for five pounds & twelve shillings ($11) for a 37 1/2 hr week. And that was with a union behind us.

Still got the black scars.

I hope all this attention will get those men the wages and conditions they deserve.
