Need Help................

There's a small slide switch on the PC board of the circulator. If it's in the wrong position, the relay kicks but the pump doesn't come on.

Been there, done that, kicked myself a million times thereafter doing it again, and again, and again....

Can you get a space heat call to make the secondary tees hot. Could have a check valve installed backwards. Almost did that to myself yesterday. That's not as easy a fix as the switch is :-)

Good Luck, let us know how it turns out.

Have P/S- Pumping away. Boiler loop has used Taco 007 from original set up which was punping into return. 4 ZV's controlled by Taco 404 with priority on one zone which is piped to Amtrol Indirect, other tree go to baseboards. System loop has new Taco 007PZC. Both pumps turn on simultaneously when there is a call for hot water, yet no hot water is produced. Boiler loop and manifolds are 1-1/4" all zones are 3/4"-takeoff and return. The two closely placed tees at the manifolds are cold and there is not blending of boiler water and return water. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I'm trying to see it Ernie

You have a primary/secondary.Your secondary has 4ZV's?right?Is the indirect included on the secondary loop?I'm assuming that end switch from the ZV is making and energizing through TT.But if your outdorr sensor is controling the secondary you are in warm weather shut down(WWSD).The "hot zones"should be branching off your primary loop and secondary is for reset.

I may not be seeing all or understanding what you described but this is what come sto my minds eye.

is the Amtrol piped parallel to the boiler?

The ZVC Taco control can be wired to accept a Circulator for the DHW if it is pipe parallel of the Primary loop. Wiring is in the control instructions. If DHW is in secondary piping, use the N/O dry contact for the hot lead, and neutral goes to system neutral. Jump Priority Zone 3&4.

Yes secondary has 4zv's and indirect is included on the secondary. No outdoor sensor or wwsd. Amtrol aquastat hooked into TT on Taco ZV Control, from those TT terminals wire goes to PZC Circulator which has built in relay and activates system circulator loop. From Taco ZV Control another wire goes from master end swich to boiler control to pull in that relay to turn on boiler circulator loop and or fire if required.

Yes I saw wiring diagram in instructions, if all else fails I will try it that way. Thanks for your input.

    Well...

there's some reason that you're not getting circulation. Round up the usual suspects, air, dirt, closed valves, hidden check valves installed backwards, pumps installed backwards (did that once in front of my partner AND our customer)...

Keep on it, you'll get it.
