B&G \"caves\" IAS changed... Boilerpro

Just got word that they have changed the IAS inline air seperator design. The old 3/4 inch top tapping is now only a 1/8 inch so a bushing won't need to be used for 1/8 inch vents. Now the bladder compression tank is to be connected to be bottom, where it will collect debris from the system and probably fail much too early. A conventional tank can't even be used anymore. Too bad to see a once industry leader follow the path of other companies that cater to the quickest, cheapest and poorest installation practices. On a positive note, you maybe able to turn the unit upside down and use the half inch tapping for the vent, tank, and fill connection. Will provide update when I hear more.
