get valve ledgers or/and drawings (rather crude, I'll admit) of the mechanicals. Makes it easier for the next guy to service, plus it adds another signature piece to the job. It's all part of my effort to be more professional than my competion.

Great clients to work for.
This was a very enjoyable project. Viessmann, Unico and Lennox. 6,000 square feet of heated space and 2,700 square of cooled areas. These clients saved their money for 18 years before building their new home. They did not cut any corners since they plan on retiring and passing on from this home. I must say, I have the best clients any contractor could hope for. Even when things are lean, I truly feel blessed and cant imagine doing anything else for a living!

nice touch
putting the fuel filter where it can be serviced without a hassle. How about a close-up of that very tasty board?
As always, your clients get the best!

A work of art
It is work like this that keeps us doing it. You have left your mark to live on long after you have past. That is very personally satisfying to me and obviously to you. I enjoy another craftsman's talented work like some others enjoy staring at paintings. We have just chosen a different medium. You are a master IMHO.0 -
How come??
Is thewre a reason Wirsbo is missing? Nice work, as always.

Great job, Heatboy. Top shelf work as usual. The poured slab for the A/C unit is a nice touch. It sure beats the plastic pads that everyone seems to be using these days. Did you pour it yourself or do you get the GC to do it?
I like the idea of the foam staples in the basement vs. steel mesh and cable ties. Did you find this quicker and easier? What is used to re-inforce the concrete? How thick is the foam? Keep up the great work. -DF

I asked the GC.........
if they could pour a pad if they had enough concrete left after the basement and garage were poured. The staples work great if you are using 1" minimum of polystyrene and hold very well. The masons had fiber mesh in the mix for strength. I have since gone to Slab Shield insulation, so it's bach to tying to wire (sigh). I'm looking into mesh clips instead of wire ties. Easier on the back and legs, I hope.

It was payback.
My Watts/Myson/Crown/Viessmann rep is also the RTI guy. He has been good to me for so many other things I wanted to get some of his tube in. There is also some Roth and Wirsbo on this project. You know how loyal I am to Wirsbo, but I have to help others who help me at the same time. Karma, ya' know?

I think...
That is a tiger loop. Saves alot of service calls and allows the pump to be piped two pipe while only running one pipe from the tank.
As always you have somthing to be proud of here hb, just wondering why they didn't cool the rest of the place????
Seems like they would want to do it for dehumidification, if for no other reason, being that you guy's have a ton of very humid weather down there.

Nice Job.
What a nice job. One question, here in the UK we always site our Tiger Loop outside, for fumes etc. Is that not in your state codes ???
Now, would you like a job in Scotland. We can offer ''deep fried Mars bars'', all the rain you could wish for, Golf, fishing, all year round Winter, bagpipes, Soccer & lots more things, interested ?? NO !!
Oh dear !!
Kind regards.

Now, how often
do you get a boiler room that size?
I always have to fight the AIA or contractor to get anything more than 4 x 8.
Nothing but the best from hb.
