Hey friends...if you been wonderin' where I been, I ain't been locked in the pound, and they ain't yet put me to sleep.....just fullswing into redoing my dog house....gutted it down to the studs...all new systems, fire sprinks, Antique 2 pipe steam system from scratch, central air, widows walk (so the lovely Barbara can be on the look out for me on those cold winter nights and where Matt "Mad Dog" Jr. can keep an eye out for Terrorists and suspicious activities). Heard I've missed alot the last few weeks...pledge of allegiance battle???? We'll I think you know where I stand!!!! God Bless America...the Great Nation UNDER GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give me liberty or give me death!!!!!!!!anyway, I'll be posting pics along the way, and a lot of stories to boot. You know, it is a very good thing to have to hire contractors and be on the other side of the fence for once...most don't even call ya back.....Mad Dog

    Kinda like.....

Walking a mile in one of your frustrated customers shoes , ain't it ?
I wish I could count the customers that tell about the "no show" , or even the contractors that don't call back .
The least you or I could do is a pleasant call back and let them know that you can't be there at the desired time , or are "just too busy " to get there . Maybe give them a good reference to another local contractor. (maybe even point them to the "find a contractor " section of heatinghelp.com) ((no shameless plug here)).
It is getting frustrating to the customers ! They WANT to spend their money , and noone will take it !Kind of a catch 22 eh ?
Being on the other side opens up a new opportunity for all businesses , and quite the learning experience to a business owner , doesn't it ?
Best of luck Mad Dog ! Chris.
  • I hope your using

the glass lined header - like the one that Weil Mclain uses on their travelling steam boiler. Guests can get an education and get pie eyed from a strategically placed bar - all in one basement . Good luck Matt on the project - or projects I should say.
