Meat and Potatoes job - Mike Kraft

This job is a recent one almost completed. It is a home that was purchased, remodeled and added on.The buyers wanted to heat with RF but the cost was more than they cared to spend.I brought them to an install that I was doing with a Hi-Velocity air system. They liked it very much and went with it.
The DHW was covered and they still got some RF in the basement of the addition. The first floor is all Hi-V,the existing bedrooms remained electric BB (guest only),the master bed and bath are fan vectors and panel rads.No reset controls as of yet. This is something that the owners may do @ a later date.

PS:All the domestic water piping is Wirsbo Aqua-Pex

If only everyone....
..installed air systems with duct integrity. Sealed joints and all steel mains it looks like. We install the Unico brand because it allows for the use of steel ductwork. I have concerns about the use of fiberglass duct systems. Nice work Mike keep it up!!0 -
Nice clean, and tidy install. I'm sure the owners are proud of this job.

Very nice!
Mike, very nice job. is it easier to powdercoat your panels than to paint them?? I like the way the strut is the same color as the panel!

nice work
Looks great Mike. Tell me more about the powder coating ? How did you like the aqua-pex. I think, like trac pipe, there needs to be a combination. Copper for strenght in spots, and the pex for the runs. Hey Don't forget those relief tubes . Nice work Mike, I like the Grundfos with checks.

RE: Powder Coating
I have a place sorta local that sandblasts and powder coats. They sandblasted the strut and the panel is aluminum sheet metal on 3/4" plywood. The cost of the powder coating on that panel including the strut was really quite reasonable. Thanks gents fo the kind words.

I like meat!
I also like your project, Sir Cheese. Powder coat? Tough act to follow! I'll have to look in my bag-o-tricks for my next panel ;-) I also love the spiral duct. Is it lined?
