I received a welcome letter today, from a vendor that I opened an account with recently. Now I have opened a few accounts with my new company, but this is the only "Welcome Aboard" packet I have received. Commanche Marketing would use these folks as an example of a smart business.

This "little" jesture really made me feel good. "My company matters"!!

I think I will use a similar approach in my own business.

BTW, the company is R.E. Michel.

Thanks Mr. Michel, I'll be doing as much shopping as I can at your stores!!!

Mr Michel became a Dead Man

sometime in the late 1980s I believe. His company started in a Baltimore rowhouse, selling oil burner parts in the 1930s. You'd hardly know that today with all the area they cover, and all their different product lines..........
