Piping Injection pumps - Boilerpro

When installing injection pumps in a vertical run parallel to the injection return piping, what methods do you use to provide some piping give in order to make installation and replacement of the pump easier. If is piped straight in, there is little give in the piping to get the gaskets in place with the pump. I was thinking maybe a linear pipe expansion coupler or maybe a loop of soft copper. Maybe they simply are best installed with some horizontal
offsets to provide the give (like in tekmar's installation instructions)?

Servicing a circulator
doesn't require the replacemen of the volute. Any wet rotor pump can be completely serviced by removing the powerhead (rotor/stator/impeller assembly) and bolting a new one on the old volute. You can simply remove the 4 screws that hold the motor assembly in place, remove it and replace it with a new one.
Obviously if the volute is the problem, this isn't a solution, but that's a pretty rare occurance.0 -
Consider the flat gaskets
I like these for ease of assembly. They seem to slide in easily, and they don't need to compress much to be leak proof.

Servicing a circulator
Unless you are replacing a UFC Injection pump!!! We have had to turn the flange on the adapter a 1/2 or full turn to get the flanges in.
