your name to appear on the first page, just use it when you type the new topic on the first page, as I've done here.

    As usual, you beat me to it - was 'gonna ask about this.

    Why not just display author's names on the first page
    like you do on second-level page? It's about the only
    thing from the "old wall" that I miss.

    can't add the names automatically to the New Topic, but it's easy enough to do that yourself if you'd like to see it.
