Crimped Fin Tubes for Industrial Heating and Cooling
Crimped fin tubes are manufactured by helically winding a preformed metal fin strip around a base tube under tension. The crimped fin root forms the contact region between the fin and tube, while the extended surface supports heat exchange between the fluid inside the tube and the surrounding air.
This construction is used in air heaters, industrial dryers, radiators, oil coolers, and other heating and cooling equipment. Tube and fin materials, fin thickness, height, spacing, and overall length can be specified to suit the application.
Performance depends on fin-to-tube contact, airflow, material selection, and operating conditions. Temperature, corrosion, vibration, fouling, and cleaning requirements should all be considered during selection.
Cangzhou Datang Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. welcomes your drawings and technical specifications to discuss suitable crimped fin tube options.
