I recently purchased TCL 14,000 BTU 230V 700 Sq. Ft. Smart Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner with 13,600 BTU Heat in White, H14T9XH. Where can I find proper wall sleeve. I am having trouble finding one large enough. I need 21"x25"x15".

If you look up your AC model on the Home Depot website, in the Q&A section there's a question from a buyer about which sleeves will fit. The customer service reply from TCL said it needs 24.5" width minimum, and 15.25" height minimum. Depth doesn't matter because the AC unit is meant to project out from the sleeve. Home Depot's site shows the Durastar 26 sleeve as "frequently bought together" along with your AC unit. The Durastar 26 is 26" wide and 15.25" high, so it should fit. You'll need to jam some insulation into the gap between the AC unit's side and the sleeve.

I just installed a Keystone wall AC and sleeve, and I used the thin blue foam packing sheets that the sleeve came in. I cut those into narrow strips, then stuffed the strips into the gaps, and that worked well.

  • Thank you. I did not realize that depth did not matter.
