Can Gas Train Vents Be Combined? The Dangerous Mistake Most Techs Make
In this weeks video, I talk about one of the most common mistakes I see in a commercial boiler room, the gas train venting.

I haven't watched the video yet but the answer is no combing most vents.
Main reg
Pilot reg,
NO vent valve (if IRI gas train)
all require their own vents
MA. will allow the hi and lo gas pressure switches to have a common vent. This is /boiler. No teeing vents together between boilers.
MA also requires the minimum vent pipe size is 3/4" up to 40' and 1" beyond that.
Minimum size is the size of the vent tapping on the reg or bleed valve.
two gas pressure switches are the only controls that can be common vented so 2 gas pressure switches with 1.4" tapping would need a minimum 3/4" vent.
I have never seen any vents run in copper except a short piece of tubing between a gas pressure switch and the vent pipe.
