Boiler loop

question regarding hydronic heating.
I see boiler piping loops and I’ll see each infloor heating manifold has its own pump but sometimes the boiler loop has a pump as well and sometimes it doesn’t. Just curious as to why this is?
and can anyone recommend where one can learn more on boiler piping design and layout?

in some cases boilers need a dedicated loop with their own. It depends on the type of boiler and what the manufacturer requires
