Gas Grill line: Frozen connectors - loosening techniques?

I have to replace an outdoor flexible NG line that connects the grill to the NG supply metal pipe. Metal pipe/Gas grill line connection is a quick-disconnect - no problem. done.

Inside the grill, the flexible gas line is screwed to the grill (regulator?) with 2 separate nuts. One of these seems to be an adapter. With the cold weather, neither nut will move. NO GAS. Grill line is disconnected from supply. So, its safe for heat.

How to loosen frozen nuts? (yeah, I cant make any jokes here…….)

Heating the nuts slowly? Will WD40 (et al) work below freezing temp? rubber mallet? or do I bribe my nephew who lifts weights every other day at The Gym, but can't "carry" a conversation unless he saw it on Snap Tok? ;-))

The connection at the regulator is reverse (left handed) thread. Now you might need your nephew because you made it super tight. Don't forget to use a counter wrench on the regulator.
