Radiator heats initial morning warmup

I have one pipe steam. Thermostat programmed for 64 at night and 69 during the day.
This one radiator heats fine during the initial warmup cycle in the morning, but then is cold the rest of the day. The following morning this scenario repeats.
Anybody familiar with this issue? Suspected perhaps the air vent, but wonder why it heats the initial warm up cycle.
Thanks..Al

Steam is arriving at the entry of that radiator late to the party and only on a longer burn can it get fully heated. You can check it next time you do a longer burn and time how long from burner on to steam reaching the radiator supply. If you don't want to burn your finger, a thermocouple or non contact thermometer works well.
